LG Electronics is expanding its high-efficiency home appliance lineup at IFA 2026, bringing advanced energy-saving technologies to more products beyond its flagship models. The move is particularly relevant to Filipino households, where electricity costs remain a major part of everyday expenses.
At its Energy Leadership Zone, LG will showcase more efficient laundry appliances, refrigerators, and dishwashers. Its latest washing machines can exceed European A-grade efficiency requirements by up to 70 percent, while selected washer-dryer models can exceed the standard by up to 30 percent.
LG’s dryers use Dual Inverter Heat Pump™ technology, while refrigerators feature optimized cooling systems and AI Saving mode to help reduce energy use during periods of low activity. Nearly the entire new dishwasher range also achieves the applicable European A-grade rating, with select models offering up to 30 percent greater energy savings than the benchmark.
LG says its broader Energy Leadership strategy aims to make high-efficiency technology more accessible across different product categories, rather than limiting it to premium models.
The expanded lineup will be showcased at Hall 18, Messe Berlin, from September 4 to 8 during IFA 2026.
