“We are thrilled by the success of Zootopia 2 across Southeast Asia.” said Rachel Fong, Executive Director and Studio General Manager, The Walt Disney Company Southeast Asia. “While Zootopia showed that anything is possible when you believe in yourself, Zootopia 2 shows the importance of community — and what we can achieve together when we overcome our differences. We’re proud to bring that message to life for our fans across the region, from inviting local communities to join our Zootopia-themed roving school bus in the Philippines, a city-hopping experience through four different MRT stations in Indonesia, to celebrating diverse voices through a social campaign featuring beloved local dubbing stars in Thailand.”
In Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Zootopia 2, rookie cops Judy Hopps (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (voiced by Jason Bateman) find themselves on the twisting trail of a great mystery when Gary De’Snake (voice of Ke Huy Quan) arrives in Zootopia and turns the animal metropolis upside down. To crack the case, Judy and Nick must go undercover to unexpected new parts of town, where their growing partnership is tested like never before. The film also features the voices of Fortune Feimster, Andy Samberg, Idris Elba, Patrick Warburton, Quinta Brunson, Nate Torrence, and Shakira, who returns as Gazelle. From the Oscar®-winning team of Disney Animation chief creative officer Jared Bush and Byron Howard (directors) and Yvett Merino (producer).
The film anchors the holiday corridor ahead of Avatar: Fire & Ash on December 17, forming a powerful one-two punch for Disney to close the year. Catch Disney’s Zootopia 2 exclusively in cinemas today.
