An iconic name in Philippine men's lifestyle and entertainment is making its return. FHM Philippines officially marks its comeback tonight, bringing a new generation of personalities, fresh content, and bigger entertainment experiences under one roof.
But this isn't simply a magazine relaunch. With PlayTime Entertainment backing its return, FHM is expanding beyond its familiar print roots and building a wider entertainment platform that connects talent, audiences, and the lifestyle industry.
The comeback also introduces a new direction for FHM, one that puts its featured personalities and their stories at the center of the experience.
A New Generation of FHM
FHM is opening its doors to aspiring Filipinas who want to make their mark in the entertainment industry. Through its digital platforms, the brand aims to give emerging personalities more opportunities to reach audiences and build their presence.
The journey begins with an exclusive digital album featuring the personalities of the November relaunch issue. The album will be released tomorrow, November 7, across FHM Philippines' official social media platforms.
Fans can also take part in the 4x4 Challenge through FHM's social media accounts, giving the community another way to engage with the featured personalities.
Among the women featured in the relaunch are Faye Lorenzo, Vanessa Peña, Liezel Lopez, Analyn Barro, and Arra San Agustin. Each brings her own following, personality, and experience in the entertainment industry.
FHM also plans to introduce monthly cover girls, with public voting giving audiences a say in who gets featured in its digital albums. Selected talents will have the opportunity to reach a wider audience through the magazine's growing entertainment network.
More Than Just a Magazine
The relaunch comes with several new experiences designed to bring FHM closer to its audience. FHM Afters: The Podcast will feature candid conversations with familiar FHM personalities, offering a closer look at their lives, careers, and personal stories through an audio-visual series.
For those who enjoy nightlife and live entertainment, FHM Nights will bring the brand to selected venues through special events and activations celebrating its cover stars and the people behind the new FHM.
Meanwhile, FHM World will cater to a more exclusive audience through luxury lifestyle experiences, private gatherings, and premium brand activations.
One of the biggest highlights is the return of the much-anticipated FHM 100 Sexiest Women. A familiar part of the publication's history, the annual list is set to return with a refreshed approach, celebrating women, their influence, and their place in modern entertainment and popular culture.
While digital content takes the spotlight, print will still have a place in the new FHM. Limited physical copies featuring the cover girl will be available as collectibles, complete with her autograph.
Sanya Lopez Takes the November Cover
The evening's biggest reveal came when the spotlight turned to actress Sanya Lopez, officially unveiled as the first cover girl of FHM Philippines' relaunch. Her appearance marks the beginning of a new chapter for the publication, with the actress leading its November issue and representing the brand's return to the spotlight.
Following her unveiling, Lopez participated in an interview and media Q&A session. The celebration concluded with a champagne toast joined by Marshall, Alcid, and Lopez.
For longtime FHM readers, the comeback brings back a familiar name. For a new generation, it introduces a platform that combines digital content, entertainment, nightlife, and lifestyle experiences.
PlayTime Entertainment Backs the Comeback
PlayTime Entertainment sees FHM as more than a publication. Its involvement aims to connect the brand with a broader entertainment ecosystem, giving personalities access to partnerships, promotional opportunities, and platforms where they can grow their careers.
"FHM is not coming back to repeat its past. Today's talents don't wait to be discovered, they build their own audiences. What we offer is the stage, the partners and the reach to take them further. That is the print we want to leave on this industry," said PlayTime Entertainment President Crisanto Roy Alcid.
PlayTime Entertainment spokesperson Adela-Mae Marshall also delivered a welcome address during the event, highlighting the brand's return and its renewed direction in lifestyle and entertainment.
FHM Philippines is back, but its next chapter is looking beyond the magazine pages.
