Converge Enterprise Sustains Growth as Businesses, Public Sector Accelerate Digital Transformation

Converge ICT Solutions

Converge ICT Solutions, Inc. sustained strong growth in its Enterprise business during the first half of 2026, with revenues increasing 15.1% year-on-year to more than ₱3.9 billion as Philippine businesses and public sector organizations continue to accelerate their digital transformation efforts.

The Enterprise segment remained one of Converge’s key growth drivers, supported by new customer acquisitions and rising demand for high-speed connectivity, digital services, and infrastructure. The company’s consolidated revenues reached ₱22.4 billion, up 3.1% from the same period last year.

“The acceleration we’re seeing across our Enterprise portfolio is a clear validation of our product roadmap. Enterprise customers aren't just adopting our technology—they're expanding their footprint with us, making this business unit an important driver for durable, recurring growth moving forward,” said Converge Chief Finance Officer Robert Yu.

Growth was recorded across both SME and large corporate accounts. SME revenues increased 15.7% year-on-year, driven by an expanding commercial customer base looking for reliable, high-speed fiber broadband. Meanwhile, Enterprise and Large Corporate revenues grew 14.8%, supported by high-value contracts, data-intensive services, and demand for nationwide digital infrastructure.

Converge’s large enterprise unit, Converge Global Business, has also been expanding its reach in the public and education sectors. The company recently announced partnerships with major universities and local government units (LGUs) to support their digitalization initiatives through connectivity solutions.

The residential segment continued to contribute the majority of Converge’s revenues, generating ₱18.5 billion during the period. Total subscribers reached 3.09 million by the end of June 2026.

Network performance also remained a key focus for the company. Converge ranked No. 1 in fixed broadband network performance in the DICT Oplan Bantay Signal 2Q2026 Report, recording average latency of 5 ms and download speeds of 158 Mbps. Customer complaints also declined by 84% from January to June 2026.

Converge further received three Ookla Speedtest Awards for 1H2026: Best Internet, Fastest Internet, and Best Fixed Latency.

Despite rising oil prices and inflationary pressures, Converge maintained stable financial performance through disciplined capital allocation and cost management. EBITDA reached ₱13.3 billion, representing a 59.1% EBITDA margin, while net income after tax stood at ₱5.5 billion, equivalent to a 24.4% net income margin.

The company’s return on invested capital remained at 14.9%, while cash capital expenditure totaled ₱5.7 billion for the first half. Net debt stood at ₱15.6 billion, with gross debt-to-total equity at 0.4x.

With continued investments in connectivity and digital infrastructure, Converge’s Enterprise business is positioned to remain an important contributor to growth as Philippine companies, universities, and government agencies increasingly adopt digital technologies.
