Prof. Bengal Launches Cat Paste Treats and Kind Kibble in the Philippines

Prof. Bengal, the feline-focused sister brand of Dr. Shiba, has launched the Philippines’ first functional Cat Paste Treats along with Kind Kibble for Cats—both crafted with science-backed nutrition and vet-approved ingredients.

The launch, themed Prof. Bengal University, took place at Pause Pet Lodge and gathered cat parents, veterinarians, and media for an interactive look at feline wellness.

The Cat Paste Treats are designed to go beyond snacks, delivering real health benefits with ingredients like taurine for heart and vision, salmon oil for coat health, and prebiotics for digestion—all in a smooth, aromatic paste cats love.

“We wanted to make healthier choices accessible for cat parents and irresistible for their cats,” said Philipp ‘Phil’ Renner, Founder and CEO of Dr. Shiba and Prof. Bengal. 

Following this, Kind Kibble for Cats was introduced, featuring fresh chicken, chicken liver, sweet potato, frozen cod, and blueberries for complete, balanced nutrition without fillers or artificial additives.

Actress and brand ambassador Liza Soberano joined as a “Visiting Professor,” sharing her experience as a new cat mom and her trust in Prof. Bengal’s science-based approach to pet care.

The event also featured Dr. Roxanne Ignacio, DVM, who highlighted the growing role of functional nutrition in feline wellness.

Building on Dr. Shiba’s success in over 1,500 stores across Asia and the UK, Prof. Bengal aims to bring the same research-driven care to every cat household. 

Prof. Bengal’s Cat Paste Treats and Kind Kibble for Cats are now available on dr-shiba.com, Lazada Mall, Shopee Mall, and TikTok Shop, with wider availability coming this November 2025.
